When the Garden Goes to Sleep

When the garden goes to sleep

I, myself, begin to slumber.

While deep in slumber, I remember

While remembering, I dream,

While dreaming, I remember…

All things that go to rest…

Slumber

…to wake again in spring.

May your gardens slumber well.

Happy winter, everybody.

Love this. My garden didn’t go to slumber this year. It went to hell. I’ll scale back and be proactive this year.
